This digital exhibit commemorates the life and career of Dr. Richard Fine, a physician at San Francisco General Hospital and Bay Area Activist who worked towards providing accessible healthcare for the underserved people of the San Francisco Bay Area.

The Exhibit
This exhibit is divided into three sections, each highlighting a notable time period of Dr. Fine's life. The first section, San Francisco General Hospital, highlights his medical career with images from his years as an intern and a series of group staff photos from San Francisco General Hospital - now Zuckerberg San Francisco General.
The second portion, Medical Committee for Human Rights, highlights images and materials in the collection showcasing his activist work with the Medical Committee of Human Rights.
The third portion, Prisoner's Health Project, showcases Dr. Fine's work in prison reform and the efforts it took to complete the project - years of research and planning before actions took place.
