- Artist Bernard Zakheim’s mural titled, “The History of Medicine in California,” a ten-panel frescoe in Toland Hall, funded by the university and the Works Progress Administration (WPA) Federal Art Project, was painted over four years in the 1930s, and is now documented in 3D by CyArk, a non profit that archives and shares cultural sites before its relocation and the rennovation of the Parnassus Heights campus.
